We are seeking a talented and experienced Backend Developer with a strong background in Node.js and SQL databases to join our innovative team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of robust and scalable backend systems, playing a key part in delivering high-performance solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable server-side applications using Node.js.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work extensively with SQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, and data modeling to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the overall system design and technical roadmap.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to enhance functionality and performance.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Node.js.
- Demonstrated proficiency with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server), including advanced querying, schema design, and performance tuning.
- Exposure to and understanding of system design principles, architectural patterns, and best practices for building scalable and resilient applications.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
