Main responsibilities will include:

1) Developing and executing a results-driven, multi-platform communications strategy and plan in line with corporate and brand direction while reflecting local priorities

2) Handle company/product launch - mega launch events

3) Customer meetings/employee rewards/recognition meetings (Awards/certificates, trophies)

4) Creating and managing all marketing materials and collateral in line with brand direction such as corporate ppt, video

5) Implementing online marketing activities including social media/digital marketing, SEO/SEM, demand generation, lead generation, etc

6) Tracking the effectiveness of various campaigns ( ATL/BTL) and course corrections as required

7) Managing communications spending and working with vendors and agencies to create and/or localize communications and marketing activities and develop supporting assets

8) Leading the planning and implementation of PR and initiatives related to the brand

9) Collaborating with cross-functional teams and external agencies to ensure consistent brand messaging and communication

Demand Generation:

10) Planning Strategy/Execution of Field Demand generation Activity

11) Review of Budget for DG Activity, & Exhibition

12) Tracking territory wise, customer wise Inventory & Liquidation  (Includes performance of Brand /Crop wise/ State/region/ SBU India ) Growth Performance management

13) Reviewing Target and achievement /Brand Performance.

14)  New business Expansion, New business development - expansion/activation:

15) New Geography Business/Crop Expansion based on Data based

Digital Tools:

16) Tools Development for Organization based on needs

17) Closely working with Leadership team for Development of Digital tool Development, UT testing, Business needs

18) Customer Journey Mapping & Opportunity Sizing:

19) Personalization Strategy and Insights

20) User Experience Optimization

21) Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

22) Performance Measurement

23) Market Research

24) Training of Field Team

25) Adoption review

26) Development of Dashboard for leadership team,

27) Power BI Dashboard Creation for Inventory management and Neary Expiry, leaky/damage material tracking.

Key Requirements

  • You have a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • You have prior experience in a similar role
  • You are proficient in developing, executing, and measuring demand-generation programs that keep customers and prospects engaged throughout the funnel
  • Strong knowledge of content development and SEM
  • A strong network of PR and media contacts would be highly advantageous
  • You have exceptional verbal & written communication skills
  • You have a high level of attention to detail, including a proven ability to manage multiple and competing priorities simultaneously
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and are adept at building relationships with different stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Any Bachelors degree: MBA or advanced degree would be preferred.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in the agrochemical industry, with at least 5 years in similar role.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the Indian agricultural market and its dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively across India.

Note: Position based in Chennai, with the possibility of future transfer to Mumbai if required
